Content (Inter)Personal Leadership module
The (Inter)Personal Leadership module consists of two two-day sessions. The content is based on current insights from leadership, coaching, and interpersonal dynamics, always linked to the participants’ practical experiences.
Using your own case studies and a realistic simulation, you will immediately apply what you have learned.
Program block 1
In a world where change is the norm, leaders make a difference by empowering others. Secure Base Leadership offers a powerful and proven approach to strengthening trust, ownership, and resilience, thereby unlocking the full potential of people and organizations.
During the first two days of this module, you’ll be introduced to the essence of this leadership style, developed by IMD Professor George Kohlrieser. You’ll apply these insights directly to your own practice and reflect on the impact of your beliefs and behavior.
You will develop the ability to create an environment where people dare, learn, and perform. And you will discover what it means to be a true “secure base” yourself – the key to an agile, learning organization.
Program block 2
The next two-day session focuses on interpersonal leadership. We’ll explore relational intelligence and emotional resilience: these strengthen your ability to “relate” more consciously. We’ll examine your challenges in interacting with others through a systemic lens and explore how expanding your capacity for reflection, consciously shaping the quality of the conversation, and embracing discomfort can strengthen relationships.
On the second day, you’ll work on interpersonal skills and dynamics. In a simulation, you’ll be confronted with your own contribution to destructive patterns. We’ll reflect on the causes of these and develop flexibility in your leadership style to break through these dynamics. We conclude with your own case studies, so that you are able to recognize destructive dynamics, break them, and influence others more effectively.
