Set-up part-time Executive Master of Public and Non-Profit Management (MPM)
The Executive Master of Public and Non-Profit Management (MPM) consists of three themes and is concluded with a master’s thesis. Depending on your level of education, you may be required to follow the premaster first. Within each theme, we alternate professional knowledge with coaching and workshops. The MME master's program is inspired by Mark Moore's 'Public Value' model.
You conclude the part-time master MME with a master’s thesis on a subject from your own professional practice. The thesis consists of:
- a problem definition that fits in with your own professional practice;
- a theoretical framework and an account of the research method;
- a clear answer to questions based on empirical research;
- conclusions and recommendations.
You write your master's thesis under the personal supervision of an expert lecturer. The master's thesis will be assessed by two lecturers: the supervisor and a second assessor.
We assess each module with written or oral exams, individual papers, group papers and evaluation of active participation. Attendance is mandatory at all educational meetings.
Result: master’s title MPM or MSc
After successful completion of the program, you may either use the master's title MPM or the international MSc degree. The program is accredited as a scientific master's program by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).
