Supply chains are under pressure. Geopolitical uncertainty, fluctuating demand, higher customer expectations, and sustainability are making it increasingly difficult to balance delivery reliability, costs, and working capital. At the same time, supply chain collaboration is becoming more complex, with more links, more data, and more dependencies than ever before.

In the Supply Chain Management Master Module, you will delve into aligning processes, information flows, and decision-making within the supply chain. You will work with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), forecasting, inventory positioning, and allocation issues, and explore how to better align supply and demand across departments and supply chain partners.

Using practical case studies, you will analyze variability, bullwhip effects, and planning mismatches. You will explore the role of behavior, bias, incentives, and trust in supply chain decisions, and how to make these factors explicit in discussions between, for example, sales, operations, finance, and purchasing.

This module provides you with the framework, language, and practical tools to structurally improve supply chain coordination. You apply concepts and models directly to your own organization and develop concrete improvement directions with which you can manage delivery reliability, costs, service and working capital in a targeted manner.
