The Sustainability Leadership Program
In the Sustainability Leadership Program, you work with solid academic frameworks in a strongly practice-oriented learning environment. Through lectures, discussions, and assignments, you deepen your view on sustainability, strategy, and leadership. The reality of your own organization is central throughout, and you learn intensively together with other experienced professionals.
Your sustainability challenge as guiding theme At the start of the program, you describe your organization’s sustainability challenge. This case then forms the guiding thread during all program days. You work on it in the form of a learning log, in which you record new insights, analyses, and decisions. By adding to your learning log after each day, you will have a coherent and well-founded plan at the end of the program to advance your organization’s sustainability agenda.
Six program days and two peer learning sessions The program consists of six content-driven program days and two peer learning sessions in smaller groups. The peer sessions take place after the first and after the fifth program day. In these sessions, you discuss current issues from your daily practice, bring in challenging situations, and reflect on the challenges of other participants. You learn from each other’s context and perspectives and sharpen your own approach.
By combining in-depth program days with peer learning sessions, you continuously connect what you learn to the strategic choices and changes in your own organization.

A Word from our Academic Director
“After years of having the wind at our backs, our sustainability agenda is now increasingly facing headwinds. Regulations are being delayed or watered down, subsidies are being reduced, polarization and legal disputes are on the rise, and the actual value being created is being questioned. At the same time, it is clear that a robust business strategy, a strong business case, and effective organizational implementation offer a solid response to this fluid context.
Your own intrinsic motivation to create societal value also plays a crucial role. Only then can you, as a leader, inspire others and move the organization toward a more modern sustainable positioning that is also competitive. The Sustainability Leadership Program helps you develop the hard and soft skills you need for this.”
