Why choose this program?

Integrating sustainability into strategy, decision-making, and value chains.

This module is designed to provide you with in-depth, practice-oriented insight into sustainability within value chains. You will learn how organizations can translate sustainable choices into strategy, operations, and collaboration within the chain. You will work toward the following learning objectives:

Insight into sustainability and value chains: You will understand current developments in business ethics, ESG, CSR, the Sustainable Development Goals, Shared Value, and the Triple Bottom Line, and be able to explain what these mean for business operations and supply chain collaboration.

Translating sustainability into strategy and decision-making: You will become familiar with relevant frameworks, concepts, and tools that managers can use to integrate sustainability into strategic decisions, including CSRD and CSDDD.

Setting priorities using data and stakeholder input: You will learn to work with methods such as materiality analysis, stakeholder mapping, and KPI development to make sustainability issues concrete, measurable, and manageable.

Balancing financial, social, and environmental interests: You will practice weighing interests, risks, and impacts in realistic scenarios where sustainability, costs, continuity, and value creation intersect.

Circular and sustainable supply chain strategies: You will explore how organizations can develop circular strategies, engage in responsible procurement, ensure supply chain transparency, and collaborate with partners to increase their sustainable impact.

Applying what you’ve learned to your practice: You will apply these insights in a realistic simulation and through practical assignments, strengthening your ability to facilitate sustainable change within your organization or supply chain.
