Financial Management

This 3-day Financial Management Master Class is tailored for “non-financials” from the commercial sector. It gives you a clear overview of the key aspects of financial management. Our tools, informed by the latest science, help you assess financial documents and make decisions. We focus on applying this knowledge in practice: how do you approach discussions with financial colleagues? So you can better fulfill the financial responsibilities of your role.

Day 1

What do you want to know about finance, but are afraid to ask? We answer these questions during the first day of the master class. This gives you a solid foundation to build on for days 2 and 3.

Day 2

Day 2 starts with investment selection: how do you assess future investments? This includes attention to the place of the budget in organizations, and what to do if the budget does not line up with reality.

Day 3

On day 3, we turn our attention outwards, to reporting. Learn the different parts that make up annual financial statements, and how to analyze and interpret these figures.

Time investment and result

The Financial Management Master Class takes place over 3 consecutive days.

The program is designed to limit the amount of preparation time. Participants should plan for a total of 5 hours of preparation time.

Upon completion of this master class, you will receive a Financial Management certificate from TIAS.

PE-points

Several parts of the program can be used to register for PE points. The PE point system is currently undergoing some changes. Feel free to contact our Program Adviser for further information.
